Therapy and technology glossary
General terms from therapeutic practice and nexmin’s own names, grouped by the questions that come up when you bring a tool into your practice. Each entry says what kind of term it is; when a concept has a full page, the glossary takes you straight to it.

- nexmin termPensaPensa is the proper name of the part of nexmin that thinks and suggests across the process: it formulates each session’s working hypotheses, follows whether they grow stronger or weaker from session to session, prepares a process reading using the framework you choose and answers your questions about the case.
- nexmin termTrust LoopTrust Loop is nexmin’s review loop: everything the AI prepares arrives as a draft, and you review, correct and approve it before it goes into the case memory.
how do you read a process across sessions?
- nexmin termPhenomenological process modelThe phenomenological process model is the approach nexmin uses to analyse sessions, drawn from the phenomenological and humanistic tradition: describing experience as the person expresses it, in their own words, before interpreting it, and following how that expression changes over the process.
- general termProcess readingProcess reading is the review of several sessions together to see how therapeutic work develops: which themes return, what changes in the way the person talks about them and what remains open.
- general term · full pageProcess variablesProcess variables are dimensions used to describe aspects of therapeutic work over time.
