Cookie Policy

This page explains what nexmin.ai stores in your browser and how we measure visits. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for your permission.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar space in the browser that a website can also use.

2. What do we store in your browser?

Only what the website needs to work as you ask. It includes no analytics or advertising.

• NEXT_LOCALE — first-party cookie to remember the language; by default it is a session cookie.
• Umami opt-out — first-party local storage. It is only saved if you press “Do not measure my visits”, to stop measuring your visits in this browser.

You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

3. Umami: basic statistics without cookies

Umami is hosted by us at analitica.humbert.cat, with its server and database in the European Union. The database is provided by a company based in the United States that participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; you can request the list of providers at hola@nexmin.ai. We use it to produce our own aggregate statistics about visits to nexmin.ai commercial pages and where they come from. It does not write cookies or track your browsing across our different websites. The combined dashboard adds statistics from each site without identifying the same person across sites.

We send the page path, without parameters or fragments except campaign ones (such as utm_source or utm_campaign) when you arrive from a campaign link; an empty title; the referring website’s origin, without its path; the browser language, without the country; and the screen size rounded to 100 pixels. The server temporarily uses the IP address and browser headers to infer the browser, operating system, device type and an approximate location (country, region and city), which are stored with the visit; the IP is not stored in the statistics database. Of the location, we only look at the country. We do not send names, form contents, user identifiers or clinical content. Demos, sign-in pages and applications are excluded.

To calculate these statistics, Umami uses pseudonymous identifiers derived from the IP address and browser, different for each website and changing periodically, and keeps visit records with date and path. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data. We only consult aggregate results: we do not review individual visits, create profiles or combine this data with website forms or App accounts.

The basis for this measurement is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages of the website are useful and how visits to them change over time, within the limits described here. You can object at any time with the “Do not measure my visits” button on this page. We also respect the browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can exercise this or other rights by writing to hola@nexmin.ai, but since we cannot recognise your browser from an email, stopping the count of your visits requires the button or one of those signals. Counts do not include visits that use these options or block measurement.

4. Marketing and advertising

We do not use marketing or personalised advertising on the public site. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads or remarketing tools.

Analytics is used only for basic site measurement. It is not used to create advertising profiles or personalise ads.

5. How long are they kept?

• NEXT_LOCALE — session cookie to remember the language.
• Umami statistics — retention is set to a maximum of 12 months in the analytics database, with the oldest records deleted periodically. Backups follow a separate rotation, only to restore the service; they are not used for analysis and, if restored, this period is applied again. Technical session identifiers change periodically and are not nexmin account identifiers.
• Umami opt-out — in local storage, with no expiry, until you delete it or press “Measure my visits again”.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

As with any data processing, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction. You can exercise them by writing to hola@nexmin.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you believe we are not complying with what is stated here.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever use cookies or tools that require your permission, we will ask you before turning them on and explain them on this page.
