Only when you ask it to: you record or upload audio and, when you press “Start analysis”, nexmin analyses it. There are no open microphones and no passive listening. With the “No active recording” option, the session isn’t recorded: you work with your notes only.

You can choose to delete audio when the session closes or keep it according to the configured retention policy. Deleting the audio does not delete the transcript or analysis. See the security page for storage and data processing details.

Yes, as with any clinical recording. nexmin makes it easy: consent registered per patient, and the “No active recording” option for anyone who prefers not to be recorded, without giving up the rest of the platform.

Clinical information is protected through technical and organisational controls. In paid accounts, all processing will take place in the European Union. You can request information about providers at hola@nexmin.ai.

No. You can upload audio, dictate a voice note after the session or write your notes. Only audio that is analysed uses allowance hours.

nexmin combines practice-management tools with AI features for tasks such as transcribing sessions, preparing drafts and reviewing information across sessions. AI-generated suggestions require your professional review.

Clinical notes, readings and hypotheses are saved as drafts. You can review, edit and validate them; decisions about the therapeutic process are yours.

It can prepare a structured draft for you to review and edit. You decide what content to add to the record.

The analysis produces a session summary guided by the framework you choose (humanistic, systemic, cognitive-behavioural or EMDR, among others), together with hypotheses supported by quotes. It does not use sectioned formats such as SOAP or GIRP. You can add instructions in the patient record and edit the draft before approving it.

The app is available in Spanish, Catalan and English. Transcription recognises the language of the session, including Catalan, and the analysis comes out in your language with quotes in the original.
